We are Henry and Rebekah and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We also thank you for choosing life for your baby! God has not given us biological children and we know that adoption is the plan He has chosen for us.
We are looking forward to adopting, and sharing with a child all that God has blessed us with! We want to provide a child with everything they will need throughout their life. We hope our story will help you in making your choice.
We are praying for you and the decision that you are making, whether it be to parent or to make an adoption plan. We think your courage, strength, and love are admirable! Please know that no matter what you choose, we are praying that you and your child are healthy, and that God continues to give you wisdom. About Us: We have known each other for about 20 years and married for 11! Our parents were friends and lived in the same area. We both grew up in large country families and shared similar lifestyles, interests, and priorities. Henry is the oldest of 8 children. Henry is goofy, loud, friendly, bold, courageous, devoted, responsible, hardworking, and a leader. He enjoys birding, fishing, hunting, playing games, family gatherings, traveling, and Bible study. Rebekah has 6 siblings. She is quiet, calm, dependable, faithful, hardworking, and very organized. Some of her favorite things are reading, crocheting, hiking, baking, gardening, babies, dogs, chocolate, and going on vacations. We are familiar with adoption because Rebekah grew up in a transracial adoptive family. Adoption has always been special to us as we believe it is a sweet picture of our relationship with God. We have been adopted into God’s family because of His grace and mercy. God hasn’t given us biological children but He has blessed us with a successful business, a beautiful property in the country, and a large lovely home. He has also given us a deep longing to share what we have with a child who needs a home and loving family. We love babysitting our nieces and nephews and we know any child we adopt would be welcomed into the extended family with open arms!
- We start every day with coffee, prayer, and Bible reading.
- Henry grew up in an Amish family and his mother tongue is Pennsylvania Dutch, a German dialect.
- Henry is a volunteer fireman and Rebekah volunteers at the local Christian mission.
- Once a month, we host our youth group for a game night.
- Rebekah plans to be a stay-at-home mom.
- Every year we keep a list of all of the birds we have seen.
- Henry is an Elder in our church.
- We live on a 30-acre property in the country with woods, fields, mountain views, a creek, and beef cows.
- We travel often and vacation twice a year, usually at the beach.
- Rebekah is into natural health and nutrition, and loves to cook and bake healthy, delicious food.
