About Us:

We met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in 2010. It is hard to describe the idea of fate when you experience it first hand; meeting a random person, at a random moment in time, who turns out to be your soulmate, and the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Within moments we found ourselves immersed in deep conversation, then spent the rest of the night dancing and laughing. We began a friendship, that led to a relationship, and ultimately led to our marriage in 2014. Our original friendship continues to grow stronger with each passing day as we are each other’s best friend. We have had many highs and lows in all of our years together. Being able to carry a child full term was hard for Erin, though we were blessed with our son Aidan in 2018. Since then, we have wanted nothing more than to continue expanding our family. Adoption is well known in Erin’s family, as two of her first-cousins are adopted and another first-cousin adopted two boys of his own as well. We love to spend time as a family; going to festivals, museums, playing games, and dancing in our living room. We strongly believe that all children should feel safe and happy, making this a priority in both our professional and personal lives.


About Justin from Erin:
  • Justin is a hands-on father, who will take his child to the doctor, go on school field trips, and even make a late-night run to get a new outfit for picture day.
  • Justin cares. He is a loving father and a wonderful supporter for his family. Justin puts his family first and makes sure everyone is cared for and has what they need.
  • Justin listens. He always takes the time to listen to Aidan and I about anything that is on our minds or weighing heavy on our hearts.
  • Justin is an intellectual, he will take the time to learn about any new subject put in front of him. He has learned a lot from his father and hopes to pass that knowledge onto his children; such as farming, mechanical work, and carpentry.

About Erin from Justin:

  • Erin is patient and kind. She instills in Aidan, and all those around her, the importance of charity and showing love towards others.
  • Erin is adventurous. She plans fun trips for the family, always coming up with ideas that make them memorable for us all. No matter the day or occasion, Erin is always ready to have fun.
  • Erin is entertaining. She is always sharing funny jokes and loves to make people laugh. Erin is outgoing and wants everyone around her to be comfortable and have a good time.
  • Erin is loving. Erin focuses on putting the needs of her family first and making sure all those in her life know they are loved. She goes over and beyond for her family.

10 Fun Facts:

  1. We LOVE to be outside; whether playing laser tag, soccer, baseball, or driving our golf cart around our neighborhood.
  2. Justin loves to cook and Erin loves to eat.
  3. We enjoy spending time at the lake; taking rides on our family boat and jet ski.
  4. We go to the beach every year with our family, where we build sandcastles and visit local attractions.
  5. We LOVE playing games! Board games, hide and go seek, as well as games that Aidan makes up as he goes.
  6. Justin grew up on a farm, which we visit frequently. Justin helps with the farming and Erin attempts to make friends with all of the cows.
  7. Honesty is very important to us, as we strive to always tell the truth no matter the consequences.
  8. Aidan is our son and he cannot wait to be a big brother! He loves to play, dance, and run. He is learning about adoption and thinks it is so cool the baby will have a "belly mommy".
  9. We would like to have an open adoption, so the child can know and appreciate their biological family.
  10. We are open to the child's birth parents naming the child. We believe that will be a special bond the child can share with their biological family.
