We work with expectant mothers, anywhere in Virginia, who wish to receive free counseling during their pregnancy regarding both parenting and adoption plans. There are a variety of options available to encourage birth families and adoptive families to build lifelong relationships with one another, if it is their desire. We encourage expectant parents to choose an approved waiting adoptive family who would provide the future they desire for their baby.
Pregnancy Counseling
Free, no pressure counseling, anywhere in Virginia, to explore adoption and parenting options. Our goal is to empower expectant parents with education to make the right choice for themselves, their baby, and their situation.
Domestic Infant Adoption Program
This program is designed for Christian, married couples. We invest in your experience and your story - keeping your best interests at heart and giving you honest feedback along the way so you can make confident, informed decisions in your adoption process.
Home Study Services
We provide fast and affordable home studies for domestic infant adoption, private adoption/parental placement, and embryo adoption to Virginia families.

Family Life Services (FLS) was established and licensed in 1983 as a private, faith-based, adoption agency in Virginia. We are a small group of adoption professionals with over 40 years of combined experience among our staff. We acknowledge that adoption is a lifelong journey and we seek to provide ongoing resources and support to all members of the adoption community before and after adoption. We believe that children, birth families, and adoptive families deserve quality professional services provided with compassion, commitment, and integrity.
