Hope for the Journey Conference {Virtual Access}

Family Life Services Adoption Agency is offering access to the Hope for the Journey Conference (founded by Show Hope) as a Virtual Training Option so people can participate who do not live in close proximity to our agency. Participants who register for this event will have the opportunity to watch more than 6.5 hours of this pre+post adoption support and training program from the comfort of your home. The cost is $20/person, the content can be started and stopped at any time, and will be accessible from April 10 to June 30, 2024. The first 50 individuals who register by March 31st will be mailed a Companion Guide + Notebook. A training certificate is not available for this event.
The Hope for the Journey Conference is designed to reduce the barriers that stand between children and places of healing, security and hope. The conference will provide an in-depth look at the impact of trauma on children and will offer insights, strategies, and tools for caregivers to achieve effective behavioral change while promoting lasting connection and healing with their children. This training includes five high-level learning modules based on the foundational principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). Embedded within each learning module will be a “Going Deeper” teaching video on a select topic. Also included will be one practical, encouraging “Practical Perspectives” video featuring the voices of adult adoptees (as well as adoptive and foster families).
The Hope for the Journey Conference is ideal for foster parents, adoptive parents, parents of children who have experienced trauma, educators, counselors, caseworkers, church staff, and anyone who works with children from hard places.
