Thank you for taking the time to look through our book! We know that right now we are strangers, and that you are making a decision based on reading this stranger’s profile books and looking at their pictures, and let's be honest... that might be scary and intimidating! But here is what we want you to know...

1) You are BRAVE! We admire the decision you are making and recognize it as bravery and pray for peace as you walk this journey. The magnitude of the sacrifice this takes on ya'll is recognized by us, and forever will be!

2) You are RECOGNIZED! In our home, we pray for our adopted son’s biological family by name every night with him and he has been raised to be proud to be adopted! We want you to know that in our home, you will be loved, acknowledged, and considered an extension of our family as well!

3) Our house will be full of JOY, LOVE & LAUGHTER! We are sure you have wondered what ‘home’ would look like for your child. We can guarantee you that in this home love, joy, and laughter will abound! We are silly, always down to have a good time, make good memories, and make sure our children feel so full of love that it pours out of the windows and doors!

There is so much more we want to tell you but these 3 things we wanted you to know first! It is our prayer and hope that whatever choice you make, you find peace!

About Us:

Jimmy is hard-working, goofy, always up for a good time, and EXTRA! He turns everything up to make good memories and a fun time! He is passionate about his job and loves creating new ways to make church fun for the kids on Sunday mornings! He loves me (Kristen) and Luca (our son) with a love that is beyond description! He has true joy in his eyes when he speaks of his family! Beyond being fun and a family guy, he is also a sports guy! He loves all Atlanta sports, with his favorites being the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs! On a free day, he loves to go golfing with his friends!

Kristen loves BIG! She will move mountains for her people! She loves being a mother more than anything in this world to Luca! Luca is the reason she went back to further her career so that she could better care for him since he had a few health issues in his first year. She loves being a wife, daughter, sister, and aunt and takes great pride in her family! She loves children and made a career out of caring for them! In her free time, she likes to catch up on Hallmark Christmas movies (it doesn’t matter the time of year) and snuggle up to read a good book!

10 Quick Facts:

1. We keep a journal of all our favorite things Luca says as he grows so we don’t forget them one day!

2. Our son asked us to buy an inflatable Christmas dinosaur for our decorations this most recent Christmas season (2024) and he wanted it to be INSIDE of the house...not outside, which is where Christmas inflatables are supposed to go… So we had an inflatable dinosaur with a Santa hat inside of our house for the whole Christmas season that brought him so much joy and created a lot of giggles for anyone who came into our home! 

3. Kristen loves the Harry Potter books and movies, and even has a wand she takes with her to Universal!

4. We love the Marvel franchise and during quarantine in 2020 rewatched all of them chronologically!

5. Our favorite food is SUSHI! We have made a lot of dates around this trying to find the best sushi places! One time we made sushi at home (it wasn’t the best but it was super fun), and another time we went to a place in Atlanta that has sushi that comes to you on a conveyor belt! It was awesome! 

6. We love adoption and have strived to make it a normal part of Luca’s life. In so doing, we have surrounded ourselves with other adoptive families, and his babysitters are also adopted! We are excited our adoptive children will have someone they can relate to as they grow up!

7. Our favorite season is fall! We love the change in weather and the beginning of the holiday season!

8. Jimmy sets a goal every year to have the best Christmas lights in our subdivision!

9. We are planning to go to Disney World in the Fall of 2025 with Luca and Kristen’s family, which includes Kristen's two nieces! We are so excited!

10. We hope to have 3 children- All through adoption! We look forward to our kids sharing a common bond through adoption as they grow and want them to take pride in their stories!
