This Adoption Training Weekend is mandatory for all approved applicants to the FLS Domestic Infant Adoption Program. We are currently accepting applications for this program. Couples must submit a pre-application and a full application for approval prior to receiving an invitation to this training event. There is no obligation to join the FLS program if, after completing the weekend, a couple feels that FLS is not the right fit for them. Space is limited and couples will be invited in the order in which applications are approved.

This two-day training workshop includes presentations from staff and various speakers on adoption topics such as medical considerations in adoption, transracial adoption, building healthy adoption relationships, creating the adoption profile, etc. In addition, attendees will hear panel discussions with adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents. The cost is $350/couple.
