Family Life Services Adoption Agency is hosting the live simulcast of the Empowered To Connect Conference at the Liberty Mountain Conference Center (3700 Candler’s Mountain Road, Lynchburg, VA). Developed by the late Dr. Karyn Purvis & Dr. David Cross (Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development), this conference is ideal for adoptive and foster parents, extended family members, childcare providers, those considering adoption or foster care and those who are serving and supporting others, including social workers, agency professionals, church staff and ministry leaders, counselors, therapists and all others involved in adoption and foster care ministries or services.

If you are a social worker or licensed professional and wish to receive continuing education credit, please email info@familylifeservices.org for instructions to register for CEU’s. There is a fee for continuing education credits.

Coffee, water and light snacks will be provided throughout the event and there is a planned lunch break for you to have lunch on your own. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/drinks if you wish or if you have special dietary needs. Childcare is NOT provided for this event, but we encourage you to arrange childcare for any small children as the seminar is full of important information that you will not want to miss.
